In August 2024, this car passed the Technical Inspection of the Austrian government and was awarded the Austrian Historical Certificate, as all components are as in the original specification.

Since the Series 1 vehicles were only built between 1968 and 1970, not many were built. The total number of Series 1 vehicles built worldwide was therefore only 20,042 cars, it is pretty accurate to say that there are maybe only 3000 left that are unchanged and in very good condition.

This car underwent a restoration that took over 18 months and renewed the complete front and rear suspension, including new springs, steering box, electrical wiring, carpets, front and rear seats, interior door panels, clutch and brake systems, a new headliner, as well as the stainless steel exhaust system.
