On the occasion of Marine Corps Day, Ukrposhta presented a new postage stamp "To the Day of Marine Corps. Warriors of the Three Elements" - in honor of the Ukrainian Marines, who are fighting in some of the most difficult areas of the war and were among the first to "meet" the enemy in Crimea.

These are people who hold difficult sections of the front, perform risky operations and combat missions that require exceptional endurance, discipline and training. "Always Faithful!" for Ukrainian Marines is not a slogan, but a daily choice. And they were the ones who very clearly explained to the enemy in which direction he should move his ships. With this stamp, we thank them for their strength, resilience and loyalty to Ukraine.

Marines are called warriors of the three elements for their ability to operate on land, on water and from the air. Back in 2014, they were among the first to defend Ukraine in Crimea, remaining faithful to their oath. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, they “met” Russian troops breaking through from the occupied peninsula, held the defense of Mariupol, fought for Azovstal, participated in battles in the south and in extremely complex operations to force water borders.

The new postage stamp depicts a Ukrainian marine in full combat gear. The issue was created with the assistance of the 30th Marine Corps of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The author of the design of the postage stamp, the First Day envelope, and the art card is Oleksandr Kalmykov.

They operate confidently on land, in water, and from the air. Since the first days of Russia’s aggression, the Ukrainian Marine Corps has become a symbol of resilience, endurance, and brotherhood in arms.

Today, marines are fighting where the situation is toughest. They hold defensive lines, lead assaults, evacuate brothers-in-arms under fire, and are the first to arrive where strength, determination, and decisive action are needed most. Their power lies not only in training and combat experience, but also in trust, unity, and their readiness to stand shoulder to shoulder until the very end.

On May 21, 2026, Ukrposhta will issue the national postage stamp “Marine Corps Day. Warriors of the Sea, Land, and Air”, dedicated to the courage, strength, and resilience of Ukrainian marines.

The Marine Corps of Ukraine, which dates back to the times of the Ukrainian People's Republic, proved its loyalty to the Ukrainian people back in 2014, when Ukraine faced open armed aggression from Russia.

Today, the Marines fight where it is most difficult: they hold the borders, go on assaults, and rescue their comrades from under fire. Their strength lies not only in training and experience, but also in brotherhood that does not fail, in trust that keeps the formation, in the readiness to stand shoulder to shoulder in spite of everything and to the end.

The Marine Corps is loyalty to the oath, to the Motherland and to those who are nearby. They are where it is most difficult and they are the first to arrive where they are needed most. They are where the result is needed.
