Head of Reception (m/w/d)
WOOP! Funpark Graz GmbH
Graz
WOOP! Graz – be part of the fun revolution!
WOOP! Graz opened in October 2025, bringing more than 5,500 m² of attractions, events and unforgettable experiences to kids, families and adults.
We are looking for a hands-on
HEAD OF RECEPTION
who enjoys leading a team, takes ownership and turns ideas into improvements.
Our reception is at the heart of the guest experience. From the first enquiry to check-in, ticket sales and reservations, you will make sure your team delivers friendly, efficient and professional service — even on our busiest days.
Your responsibilities will include:

*

Lead the reception team in daily operations, setting clear expectations and following up on performance.

*

Organise staff schedules, onboarding and ongoing training.

*

Ensure smooth check-in, ticket sales and accurate cash handling.

*

Coach the team to actively recommend and sell suitable WOOP! activities, packages and additional services.

*

Oversee reservations and related guest communication, coordinating with colleagues responsible for birthdays, group visits and corporate events.

*

Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and use them to improve service.

*

Keep reception procedures clear, consistent and up to date, and ensure the team follows them.

*

Monitor service quality, sales performance and recurring operational issues, and take action where improvements are needed.

*

Oversee reception-related administration, including invoicing, reservation records and supplies.

*

Ensure the reception and shop areas are tidy, welcoming and well presented.
What we expect from you:

*

Experience in reception, hospitality, leisure, retail or another busy customer-facing environment.

*

Previous experience leading a team, organising shifts and giving constructive feedback.

*

A proactive approach: you notice what needs improving, propose practical solutions and follow through.

*

Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay calm, prioritise and make decisions under pressure.

*

A guest-focused and commercially minded approach.

*

Fluent German and a good command of English, both spoken and written.

*

Confidence using booking systems, cash desk software and standard office tools.

*

Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
What we offer:

*

A dynamic, fun, and goal-oriented work environment.

*

The opportunity to contribute to building one of the most innovative leisure brands in the region.

*

A supportive and experienced team from Slovenia – the creators of the entire WOOP! concept.

*

Full-time employment (40 hours per week).

*

Opportunities for growth and professional development.

*

Gross monthly salary from 2.600€.
